大奶巷 · 二奶巷 · 三奶巷
Country: Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia

How Did I Get There: Car
According to a post by Rick from iPackTravel, a signboard along Concubine Lane states that after a fire destroyed the old town in 1892, the town was rebuilt with lanes of shops. A mining tycoon, Yao Tet Shin, gave three lanes to his three wives as gifts. Each of his wives would collect rents from the shops in her own lane.
Wife Lane — Today's Lorong Hale (大奶巷)
Concubine Lane — Today's Lorong Panglima (二奶巷)
Second Concubine Lane — Today's Market Lane (三奶巷)
Today, each of the three lanes have their own Unique Selling Points that attracts tourists and locals to visit.
There is car parks and mural arts around the vicinity so do take your time to walk around.
It is hard to miss out each lanes as they have their distinct street sign at the start of it.
Concubine Lane (二奶巷) is where most of the shopping and food is. Ranging from local artists to souvenir shops, you can gauge how the street used to look in the old days. There are also street food stalls selling ice balls and other finger snacks!
Wife Lane and Second Concubine Lane (大奶巷 & 三奶巷) is more of mural arts and cafes around the area so it is more chill compared to Concubine Lane.
I would say the three Concubine lanes is worth a visit as there are several hawker stalls selling local food - such as salt baked chicken or chicken paste biscuit etc.
That's all I have for this place.
